This is Stacey and I on the last day of the Summer quarter and Stacey’s last day as a De Anza student. After our final finals, we headed over to Stacey’s house where she cooked up some curry noodles for me :9 it was delish. We had no idea what to do with ourselves since we no longer had school-related anythings to take up our time. And being the thrill-seeking people that we are, we ended up laying on her living room floor, listening to the dreamy workings of Toro y Moi. At one point, Stacey danced around her living room as I jumped on that trampoline. We sure do know how to have a raging good time, don’t we?

Tomorrow I will be parting forever with De Anza College. It’s a bittersweet feeling. All I know for sure is that I won’t miss the persistent IYF Irvine camp recruiters, the annoying clock bell ding dong every hour, and changing my political party affiliation every week.
But I’m going to miss my third emergency contact, Megan Yadao-Micael. Didn’t expect to have made such a new lovely friend in such short time. Some people think we’ve been best friends for years, though in actuality, Megan and mine’s companionship (and Woody Allen cult) began this April. We sure fooled them.
During these past two quarters, we had a lot of firsts together: eating at the Home of Chicken & Waffles in Oakland, buying scratcher tickets, and reaching the top of Mission Peak. But one of my favorite meganandstacey moments happened when I was studying at Hydration with Calvin and his classmates. One of them was really cute. So I texted Megan about it, and she proceeded to facebook stalk him for me. Turns out he’s 24 and his favorite book is the Bible. Despite his love and devotion for the Holy Lord, he was the most boring guy I’ve ever met..ever. I think this was the moment Megan realized I have bad taste.
I’m so glad to have made such fond memories with De Anza and Megan. But I’m even gladder for the 2010-2011 school year to end, and for the chronicles-of-meganandstacey’s-summer-vacation to begin.
